SMIS for Bridge Construction by Incremental Launching

Monitoring of stress-strain state of span structures during transverse and longitudinal incremental launching

The MINI-SMIC structural health monitoring system is implemented for bridge construction control by the launching method. The online monitoring system was developed by LLC RPC BAU-MONITORING to control the construction of bridge crossings by longitudinal launching.

System Necessity

The monitoring and control system for bridge construction is in demand and necessary for both design organizations and construction companies. The system is used to control the mechanical characteristics of load-bearing structures, including support rolling devices and main beams of the bridge span.

Tasks During Construction

  • Installation and commissioning of SMIC
  • Organization of wired (wireless) access to the system monitoring interface
  • Operation of the monitoring system during preparation and construction work

Regulatory Documents

Installation and commissioning work should comply with OST 36-130-86, POT R M-012-2000, SNiP 12-01-2004, and SNiP 3.06.04-91.
