R&D and Custom Development

Custom equipment and software development, monitoring system adaptation to specific tasks

Custom Development

BAU-Monitoring offers research and development (R&D) services in the field of structural health monitoring. We adapt our systems and sensors to the specific requirements of our customers.

Creating New Equipment Modifications

Based on our production facilities, we develop and manufacture new modifications of existing equipment, as well as create unique products for specific project requirements. This may include:

  • Development of sensors with non-standard measurement ranges
  • Creation of combined devices (accelerometer-inclinometer-strain gauge)
  • Adaptation of equipment to extreme operating conditions
  • Modification of dimensional and connection sizes for installation tasks

Software Development

Our team develops software for specific monitoring tasks:

  • Modification of MINI-SMIS ARM software to customer requirements
  • Creation of specialized server applications for data collection and processing
  • Integration of monitoring systems with external information systems
  • Development of data processing and analysis algorithms

Research Work

We conduct research in the development of new monitoring methods and tools, including:

  • Research of new types of sensing elements
  • Development of measurement and verification methods
  • Participation in the development of regulatory documents and standards
  • Joint projects with leading research institutes (IFZ RAS, CNIIS, etc.)

Adaptation to Operating Conditions

Our specialists adapt monitoring systems to the specific operating conditions of the facility:

  • Climatic conditions (temperature, humidity, aggressive environments)
  • Special requirements for accuracy and measurement frequency
  • Specific requirements for data transmission interfaces
  • Integration with existing systems at the facility
