Dynamic Bridge Testing

Determination of bridge structure dynamic characteristics: frequencies, mode shapes, damping

LLC RPC BAU-MONITORING offers ready-made wired and wireless equipment kits for determining dynamic characteristics of bridges.

Testing Methodology

The methodology was developed at JSC CNIIS in accordance with SNiP 3.06.07-86 "Bridges and Pipes. Rules of Surveys and Tests". Updated edition: SP 79.13330.2012. The methodology was developed from 1989 to 2006.

Minimum Equipment Kit

  1. ACt90 triaxial digital accelerometer-inclinometer (State Register No. 73369-18) — 2 pcs.
  2. MS4812 controller — 1 pc.
  3. NK-2 cable — 2 pcs.
  4. Power converter 5V — 21.5V — 1 pc.
  5. External battery 5.0V / 2A — 1 pc.
  6. SD memory card from 4 GB — 1 pc.

Measurement Procedure

ACt90 accelerometers with logical numbers 01 and 02 are installed on the left and right sidewalks in the middle section of the span. Vibration registration is performed using the MS4812 controller.
