Purpose

Measurement of tilt angle of various objects relative to Earth's gravitational field. Tilt angle measurement system converts angular displacements and small tilt angles into digital binary sequential code and transmits via RS-485 interface.

Description

IN201 inclinometer sensor is a dual-axis quartz pendulum inclinometer/tiltmeter with sensitive elements made of quartz glass, ensuring good long-term and temperature stability of measurements. Operating principle uses a plumb or pendulum suspended on a quartz thread that maintains vertical position regardless of instrument tilt angle and electromagnetic fields.

Principle of operation

Pendulum system on quartz thread changes parameters under tilt angles. Quartz glass provides exceptional measurement stability.
